.: Relaxing massage
Generally called Swedish massage, it provides general well-being and relaxation.
It is certainly the fastest and most effective relaxation technique among natural therapies. This type of massage is recommended for people under stress and to prepare for sleep. Swedish massage is especially indicated for problems of physical strength and muscle tension.
In general, thanks to its relaxing effect, it is beneficial for people of all ages. It improves sleep quality, decreases nervous tension, relieves stress conditions (i.e back pain, lack of energy, etc.) and provides a general state of well-being. It is particularly effective in correcting and relieving disorders of the musculoskeletal system (stiffness, tension, spasms, tight muscles, growth and posture problems, etc.).
Relaxing massage is used in a medical context as a complementary approach in rehabilitation and functional re-education with people whose physical activity is insufficient or non-existent. It is also recommended for athletes after a sporting event as it relieves sore muscles and allows rapid recovery.
In addition to its ability to reduce the level of stress and tension, several studies have demonstrated its positive effects, among other things on the immune system and as a complementary approach with children treated in psychiatric care for behavioral disorders and depression. Another study conducted in the workplace with nursing professionals found that brief sessions of Swedish massage significantly reduced pain and tension and improved mood.
